Respond to This Quote: “You don't take a photograph, you make it.” ~Ansel Adams
I find this quote to be very important to the art of photography. It really stresses the idea that photographs are so much more than a simple push of a button. Whether intended or not, a photograph always has the photographer’s voice; even if it is seen simply in the things that are present in the frame versus those that are not. Therefore I definitely agree with the idea that it is more accurate to say that photographs are made not taken.
