As I was sitting in my chair thinking of what memory I wanted to recreate I looked out the window. It instantly brought back memories of this summer. This summer I injured my foot leaving me unable to go outside and do anything for a few weeks. I would sit in this chair, practice guitar, and look out the window on days when I really wanted to go bike, or run, or do anything. In framing the photograph I chose to wear shorts (as I wore in the summer). I also included the crutches in the shot. I put on my brace, and chose to look out the window to attempt to portray my longing for the outdoor during this time I couldn't go outside.
